Image. Steel line engraving on paper. Later hand colour. In a Hogarth frame, glazed, with a bevelled ivory mount having triple hand rulings with wash infill. Mount window 200 x 160 mm; frame overall 320 x 285 mm. Looks to be in good condition but not examined out of the frame. 32 x 28.5 cm.

Incisione originale eseguita su matrice di acciaio. Vedutadi Pinerolo vista da oriente. Inprimo piano unpaesaggio campestree alcune scene dettagliate con diversi personaggi: una contadina che raccoglie dei frutti dall`albero, un carro di buoicon contadini in costumi d`epoca, e alcuni passanti. Sulla destra, in secondo piano, il paese di Pinerolo. Sullo sfondo una veduta panoramica sulle Alpi Cozie e il Monviso. Tavola ideata da W. Bartlett, disegnatore di architetture e topografie, tratta da celebre opera edita in Inghilterra per sostenere e promuovere le popolazioni Valdesi in Piemonte e nel Delfinato. Esemplare in buone condizioni conservative.…
