Second impression (the first edition was in 1922). 239pp., a colour frontispiece and 4 black and white illustrations by Percy Tarrant. Robert Arthur Hanson Goodyear (1877-1948) was a popular English author of children's stories, primarily in a boys' school setting. The volume for sale tells of the adventures of boys at Wheystone Modern School, also known as 'Topsy-Turvy Academy'. The book is bound in the original red cloth covered boards with yellow titling on the front board and spine. The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear on the boards and bumping to the spine ends. There is a little damage to the cloth at the top of the spine and the spine is faded. The contents are tight and clean with browning to the endpapers. There is a church presentation label on the front free endpaper.
