Large format (quarto) covered in blue cloth with silver lettering. Handsome looking. Book in Good condition. Binding durable. General light wear to cover. No marks in text except for name of former owner on front endpaper. Would be Very Good except for some kind of water damage/stain of a light brown color (looks like tea) visible on rear endpapers. Some crinkled pages at the very end - last few pages.

Sennholz on the front free endpaper and warmly inscribed to Ridgeway "Dick" Foley, who contributed the essay "The Anonymous Life" to this work. xvi, [2], 571 pp. Bound in publisher's navy blue bonded leather lettered in gilt. Near Fine with pinhole to spine leather, slight dent to lower edge of rear board, and light soiling to blank page facing title. An anthology of essays by admirers of Hans F. Sennholz, an Austrian School economist whose first extended stay in the United States was spent in a prisoner of war camp in Arkansas. After taking his degrees back in Germany, the former Luftwaffe pilot returned to study at New York University. He became Ludwig von Mises' first PhD student in the United States and served as president of the Foundation for Economic Freedom after a long career in academia. Sennholz was an influence on former Congressman Ron Paul, who regarded him as a personal friend.
