Corners are bumped with a fair amount of edge wear, chipping, and scurffing to boards. Some fading. Pages show some foxing and soiling. Pages 9 and 69 have pieces torn out… that include some text, otherwise I would grade it about Good -. Some other small tears to a few pages, but they don't affect the text. Originally published in 1930, this is a charming first-grade reading primer from 1940 with lovely color illustrations of the period. Chapter titles range from "Bubbles" to "Painting the Playhouse." Est Level: 1st grade; Ex-Library; 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tal.
