Corners are bumped with a fair amount of edge wear, chipping, and scurffing to boards. Some fading. Pages show some foxing and soiling. Pages 9 and 69 have pieces torn out that include some text, otherwise I would grade it about Good -. Some other small tears to a few pages, but they don't affect the text. Originally published in 1930, this is a charming first-grade reading primer from 1940 with lovely color illustrations of the period. Chapter titles range from "Bubbles" to "Painting the Playhouse." The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has allover age-toning and surface soil, chips to spine ends and a small piece clipped from the lower corner - about two percent paper loss overall.
