Marbled endpapers. = A fundamental monograph on the cryptogams of Scandinavia in a good, nicely bound copy. Inscribed by the first author, the Swedish botanist John Axel Nannfeldt (1904-1985) on the first blank, viz., a dedication (and happy new year) to the French botanist and mycologist Roger Heim (1900-1979), dated Uppsala 23 XII 1948. The second author, Gustaf Einar Du Rietz (1895-1967), was a Swedish lichenologist and ecologist. Both authors were professors at Uppsale University. Front hinge tender, otherwise very good. A unique copy. Neither in Nissen BBI nor in Stafleu and Cowan.
