Original-Halbleder mit goldgeprägtem grünen Vorderdeckel, Folio ( 40 x 30 cm ). Die Tafeln zeigen unter anderem Adler, Habicht, Bussard, Milan, Falke, Jagdf…alke, Weihe, Geier, Kauz, Eulen, Schneeeule, Schleiereule u.a.Der Einband ist berieben, etwas fleckig, Ecken und Kanten sind bestoßen, der Vorderdeckel gering wellig, die Bindung ist defekt, Seiten und Tafeln meist lose bzw. stark gelockert. Innen ist das Papier gebräunt, erste Seiten und erste Tafel mit hinterlegtem Eindriß am weißen Außenrand ( außerhalb des Textes oder der Darstellung ), 6 der schönen Chromo-Tafeln leider durch Verklebung beschädigt ( 2 stärker beschädigt ), 1 Textseite zum Norwegischen Jagdfalken stärker fleckig und durch Verklebung beschädigt. Seiten und Tafeln teils im weißen Außenrand gering fleckig, wenige auch stärker. Die allermeisten Chromotafeln aber von guter und farbfrischer Erhaltung. Seiten und Tafeln teils lose. ( Gewicht 2800 Gramm )( Lagerort Gondel 3 )( Weitere Bilder auf Anfrage ) /// With title page, 1 leaf preface, 1 leaf contents and 60 chromolithographed colour plates, each preceded by a page with descriptive text ( plates so complete ). Original half leather with gilt-stamped green front cover, folio ( 40 x 30 cm ). The plates show, among others, eagle, hawk, buzzard, kite, falcon, hunting falcon, harrier, vulture, owl, owls, snowy owl, barn owl, etc. The binding is rubbed, somewhat stained, corners and edges are bumped, the front cover is slightly wavy, the binding is defective, pages and plates mostly loose or heavily loosened. Inside the paper is browned, first pages and first plate with backed tear in the white outer margin (outside the text or the illustration), 6 of the beautiful chromo plates unfortunately damaged by gluing (2 more severely damaged), 1 text page on the Norwegian Hunting Falcon more heavily stained and damaged by gluing. Pages and plates partly slightly stained in the white outer margin, a few also more so. Most of the chromo plates, however, in good and colour-fresh condition. Pages and plates partly loose.
