These are the English-lan…guage translations of the works that were published in the Utrecht by W. de Haan around the same time (with different cover images). There is no publication date listed. Dust jackets with tears, chipping, rubbing and age toning, mostly along the edges. Dj for "Autumn" with only the front cover present. Bindings with rubbing, abrasions, and sunning to extremities. Interior with some occasional sporadic minor to light pencil markings and/or smudges. Book blocks tight overall. Dj in poor to good-, bindings in good- to good+, interiors in very good- to very good condition overall. Scarce. *Marie "Rie" Cramer (1887-1977) was a Dutch writer and illustrator of children's books. The prolific writer's work is considered icon in terms of style for the interwar period. Educated from 1905-1907 at the Royal academy of Art, she was one of the main illustrators for the Dutch children's magazine "Zonneschijn" (Sunshine). She also wrote plays under the pseudonym "Marc Holman".
