1/4 Leather. Condition: Good. 3rd Edition. A new edition (3rd), revised and published by the author's brother. Bound in 1/4 leather with title in gilt and drab boards. Edges rubbed with wear to the corners. Inside, foxing to endpapers and to just a few sections of the book. Some pages uncut. Bookplate of Ralph Hart Tweddell, a mechanical engineer notable for his invention of a portable hydraulic riveter, which advanced the production of ships, locomotives, bridges and boilers. Other books about Berwick, The Borders, Alnwick, Northumberland and Newcastle available. 4to, [vi] 496pp, 1.57kg.
