Condition: Good. 432 pages. No dust jacket. Beige cloth with gilt decoration and lettering. Vol. XXVIII. Contains black and white photographs. No Edition remarks within. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Clean pages except for sparse foxing at endpapers and some shallow, curved waving at the top bound corners of some of the plates (possibly a binder's error); square, secure binding (if rather relaxed); the cloth hard cover bears a gray spot at the right front edge, another at the lower rear, a small bump and wrinkle at the top rear edge, and slight inward turns at rear corners, otherwise sound.
