Publisher's original red boards with lettering and design in gilt and floral/geometric design in black. A charming image in colour to frontispiece. Very well preserved in spite of some soiling and (historic ink?) staining to boards, and incidentally to page block. As might be expected from a book of this age, there is a slight lean to the spine and some wear and bumping to spine ends and corners. Age related toning to endpapers. The spine and page block remain firm, with no detached pages. The pages are basically clean and unmarked. Overall this an attractive and charming book, well preserved, and in Very Good + condition.…
