David Brown. This tome was published by S. S. Scranton & Co. in 1877 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It is only in good condition mainly because of its age and its bulk. Amazingly the spine is holding together pretty well, which makes the book quite useful as well as interesting on the shelf. The book is 8 1/4" by 10 3/4". (It's also 3 5/8" thick.) It has over 1500 pages with black-and-white illustrations throughout. Thank you!
