Re-cased in recent archival cloth with the original titling laid down. Marbled endpapers. VERY GOOD. Shows marginal loss from the original binding, boards somewhat rubbed, former owner name of the period neatly on the title page, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.

In a calf binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, a trifle rubbed and worn, with splitting to the spine. Front board is detached, yet present, and rear board is held by the cords only. Internally, firmly bound, aside from the front free endpaper working loose, bright and clean aside from the odd spot to endpapers. Overall: FAIR with a VERY GOOD interior. Fair. book.
