The Prince of The House of David (or Three Years in the Holy City) by Rev JH Ingraham. Regarding the life of Jesus of Nazareth, from his baptism in Jordan to his crucifixion on Calvary. Hardback. The book does not have a printed date but there is a dedication which dates the book to at least 29th July 1894. The pages have gilded edges. Illustrated Condition: Paper dedication has been stuck to the inner cover. Minor wear/discolouration to the cover. Slight yellowing to pages.

Part I is entitled "Meet for Heaven", and Part II contains 13 "Analogies". Cover has fading and light wear/rubs; water mark on edges of endpapers; light foxing. Book.

Cloth. Condition: Good. A novelistic telling of the life of Jesus. Nd, but erased pencil inscription is dated 1909. Bound in plum cloth, with black decorative borders and gilt lettering to the front cover, same to the spine, and black decoration to the back. Spine has chipped at bottom and eroded at top edge, exposing gatherings. Spine sunned. Book block is unmarked and unworn.
