    RARE late 18th century edition of the commentary on Isaac Alfasi`s writings on the Jewish law, along with Nahmanides` commentary "Milhamot Hashem". The book was published by Mordechai ben Samson of Brisk, the descendant of Meir ben Isaac Katzenellenbogen of Padua. The book features text decorations on title page. 365x230mm. 86 double pages. Brown quarter-cloth Hardcover. Cover corners and edges bumped and worn. Spine edges peeling. Ex-libris sticker on front endpaper. Two stamps and small pen inscription on title page. Binding visible between several pages. Pen side notes by an unknown author on several pages. Pages yellowing, wavy and slightly age-stained. [SUMMARY]: This old edition of an important Jewish text is in good reading condition. The book is in : Hebrew.
