    Condition: VERY GOOD. First printing. An early collection by this Quaker poet and activist, whose beliefs and interests are reflected in her poems. Born in London in 1907, she came to the U.S. in 1957. From 1952 to 1966, she was the head resident at Pendle Hill, the Quaker Study Center, and she also served as director for several Friends' homes for the aged. She was a dedicated pacifist and environmentalist. 75 pp, Very good in very good dust jacket (previous owner's name, short poem handwritten on rear free endpaper, some rubbing to the folds of the dj).
