First Edition
Three volumes, the first two being the third and second editions, the final volume being the first edition. 4to. Original green cloth lettered in gilt and decorated in blind. A very good set, bright, with minor wear to the spine ends. Marbled endpapers to volume three. Copiously illustrated with photographs from the featured houses throughout. Small Country Houses Of To-Day first appeared as a single volume in 1910, but when it was mooted that a new edition should be printed, Weaver "remodelled it wholly, and sixteen of the thirty-nine subjects are new." Similarly, volume two represents twenty-eight architects for the first time, before R. Randall Phillips overtook editorship of the series for the first appearance of the third volume in 1925.
