Revised Draft script for the 1973 television film which aired on March 1, 1973 on CBS. Copy belonging to uncredited still photographer Jack Stager, his name in manuscript marker on top of the title page with the annotations of production dates "12-11-72 to 12-22-72" in manuscript ink, and copy number "17" in manuscript green marker. Laid in are a four page and a single page Crew and Staff List, a two page Schedule, and a three and a single page Cast List, all with the annotation of Stager's name in manuscript marker to top right of first page. Based on the 1971 book by Gay Talese about the Bonanno crime family in the 1960s. Salvatore Bonanno takes control of the family business after the kidnapping of his father, causing a rift in the family and inciting a bloody Mafioso war. Yellow untitled card wrappers with a titled Metromedia Producers Corporation label. Title page present, dated 12-9-72, noted as REVISE, with credits for screenwriter Lewis John Carlino and author Gay Talese. 108 leaves, with last page of text numbered 99. Laid in is a typed letter signed on Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation letterhead, dated Sept. 27, 1978, from Executive Story Editor Henry Klinger to a Kirt Dressler, regarding the script. Based on the 1973 novel by Sidney Sheldon. John Beck stars as an American pilot, stationed in France shortly before World War II, who seduces and impregnates Marie-France Pisier, before receiving orders to return to the US, where he meets and marries Susan Sarandon. Following a harrowing abortion and World War II, Pisier, now the lover of a Greek tycoon and a successful actress, vows revenge on her former lover. Nominated for an Academy Award. Set in and shot on location in Paris, France, California, Virginia, and Washington DC. Blue titled wrappers, dated October 30, 1975. Ottimo stato di conservazione Bella ed intensa fotografia anni '50 del celebre attore calabrese nativo di Tropea che fu anche calciatore, giornalista e partigiano italiano. Come calciatore esordì in Serie A nella stagione 1934-1935, disputando una partita con la maglia del Torino e vincendo nel 1936 la Coppa Italia. Come giornalista, fu redattore capo delle pagine culturali dell'Unità, sebbene mai iscritto al PCI per le sue posizioni di critica nei confronti dello stalinismo. Fu pure critico cinematografico per il quotidiano La Stampa.
