Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Landscape Small 4to, pp50 (pages only printed on one side) Hardcover no dust jacket. Publishers pictorial boards with cloth spine binding in good condition with rubbing to all edges and tips, some marking and scratches. Inside front and back hinges loose with very top and bottom stitchings gone however no pages are loose and binding holding well. Previous owners name to half title page with all other illustrated pages in very good condition with a few small marks and a little toning. A nice early copy from the artist responsible for the "Laughing Cow Cheese" Logo and an inspiration for Hergé and his Tintin stories.

Mancano i nn. 1,4, 5, 7, 9, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 32, 33, 38, 43, 48, 50):Battute di dubbio spirito, ma disegni bellissimi e spassosi del grande RABIER, geniale animalista affettuosamente espressivo, inventò durante la Grande Guerra la mitica "vache qui rit - Wachkyrie" e nel 1923 il popolarissimo "canard Gédéon"; approdò poi ai cartoni animati. La Roche-sur-Yon dedica a lui un intero Museo.

Album illustré par Benjamin RABIER : six planches en couleurs hors-texte et de nombreux dessins dans le texte. Jolies histoires d'animaux interprétés avec charme par l'illustrateur et avec la plume de Emile Hinzelin. Très bon état, cartonnage frais et intérieur sans rousseurs ni annotations.
