Original dark teal, gilt-stamped front board, lettered in gilt to spine. In original, price-clipped, color pictorial jacket designed by Guy Fleming. Teal topstain. Gold endpapers. Machine deckle fore edge. [6], 410 pages. Inscribed by Vargas Llosa on title page: "Para Fernando E. Vega, / "The Collector," / [illegible]/ Mario Vargas Llosa / Mayo, 93." Jacket with some edgewear, a few chips at top edge. Book with light edgewear, spot of soil to rear board. Very good plus in very good jacket. Signed.
