This vintage publication is dated December 1951 and is titled the NOEL (Christmas) issue. A variety of topics are covered: art, literature, music, life, etc. All texts are in French. Profusely illustrated… throughout in color and b/w photography. For the articles covering fine art, some of the illustrations are plates that are tipped-in on heavier stock. The cover features a work in color by Hans Erni. The piece also has many vintage advertisements in b/w and in color from a variety of French and international firms: perfumes, tobacco, fashion, interior design, etc. Measures 9.5" x 12.75" with more than 150+ pages. The cover has two minor tears which are hardly noticeable; there are scuff marks to the covers and along the edges and the spine. There is some minor foxing to some pages, but for the most part, the contents is clean and intact. Sold as is. Due to its size and weight, additional shipping charges will be required for all deliveries outside the United States.
