Pictorial history of the robot in both fact & fiction, including inspirational examples on building your own (albeit, with 1978 technology). In159 pages, well-illustrated with black-and-white & some color photos. A FIRST EDITION,First Printing, from 1978, this quarto (8.5" x 11") has black wrappers decorated with a die cut image of a robot to both covers (cut-out eyes on front), white lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG: very clean, pages creamy white & completely unmarked, binding strong & straight. Exterior shows mild-moderate rubbing to extremities, heaviest along spine edges, with heavy diagonal creasing to lower-outer corner of front cover; no rips or tears.
