Signed letter from the Author, dated 1883, to John L. Roget (Author of Sketches of Deal, Walmer & Sandwich, 1911) tipped-in to ffep. Roget's signature, address and date (1883) to front pastedown along with a small photographic portrait of Roget within a decorative border (please see photo). Earlier Bookseller's publishing details in pencil to blank verso of ffep. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims and plates. Cloth spine faded and gilt title now illegible. Boards lightly mottled with light edgewear. A Good Copy.
