Published by the Cornish Brothers, the publishers for Birmingham University, in 1915.In the publisher's original paper wraps.The exact nature of who wrote the poem is largely unknown, yet they did write a satire on the First World War, The Holy War, the same year. Junius Redivivus (Junius reborn) was previously used by William Bridges Adams when advocating for political reform, who was inspired by the anonymous Junius who wrote letters for political reform centuries earlier. This particular work, written in microform, is a rousing poem aimed to rally the British to defeat the Kaiser and his forces. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, mostly smart, with a small crease to front wrap. Rear wrap is missing. Slight browning to the extremities of the front wrap, and a small closed tear to the right edge. End paper is clean. Internally, binding is delicate, with a loose final leaf and leaf pp.3-4 loosening from hinge. A small closed tear to left edge of first leaf. Pages are bright and clean. Good. book.
