Hardcover. Condition: Fine. --Black and gilt spine with title and with date 1853 and covers are near black, book is 9" tall. 594 pages, this book is about 175 years old, but it is more solid than most new books !! Tight solid straight binding, some foxing spots, but all readable. in remarkable condition. no illustrations, no dust jacket.

Disbound. Condition: Poor. Sub-title is The Arrangements, Apparatus, and Manipulations of the Pharmaceutical Shop and Laboratory. 576 pages, plus 32 pages of ads; 18 chapters; b/w figures; tables; index. The front board is present, but loose, and has threadbare spots and stains. The back board is missing. The spine strip is chipped and is glued to the text block spine. The title page and text block ends are very darkened. The title page has scrapes and chips. Scans e-mailed upoon request.
