Esta antología pretende invitar a reflexionar sobre la literatura europea no como un corpus cerrado, de fronteras supuestamente visibles y reconocibles. Frente a una concepción monumentalista y enciclopedista de la literatura europea, se persigue indagar qué sentido tiene hoy hablar de literatura europea, cómo se (de)construye el referente geocultural desde las culturas literarias, cuáles son las tensiones identitarias en un escenario glocal. Interesa, en definitiva, rastrear el proceso de emergencia, la dinámica de las conformaciones literarias alternativas y opositivas en una relectura de aquello que hasta ahora ha sido aceptado como literatura europea.
