Soft cover. Condition: VG+. 1st Edition. A VGF or better 2-page screening program. Screening programs were distributed to attendees of special, often pre-release screenings and contain film credits as well as assorted other information. They can often be harder to find than other paper from the same film. Size: 11" X 14". Book.

Hardcovers. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Chloe Preston & G Howard-Vyse (illustrator). In beige hardcovers with a raised colour illustration on a white circle in front, with white raised titles. No dust jacket. Includes 8 colour plates and numerous drawings. Unpaginated. Book is good, clean internally. Four of the drawings have been lightly and neatly coloured in, and there is an inscription by the previous owner, and a small light yellow crayon scribble over a drawing on the title page. The front hinge is a little shaky, but binding is sound. The boards are reasonably clean, with very light soiling. The spine strip is missing, and there is light shelf-wear to the extremities. All proceeds from the sale of this item go to Amnesty International.

With b/w illustrations throughout plus five colour full page plates (and one tipped in to cover). Covers are variously bumped and marked. Some cracking to joints. Slight loss from top of spine. Foxing to end-papers. Occasional marks within but generally clean. Binding sound. Good overall.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Chloe Preston (illustrator). 1st Edition. A very scarce children's propaganda story book from WW1. The Peek-a-boo characters join up and go to war. Colour frontis and eight other plates plus line drawings in text. This is a fair copy only: covers rubbed, base of spine missing, binding shaky in places. Unpaginated but there may be a page missing in Chapter VII. A few pages tanned but the book is generally bright especially the plates. There are no inscriptions but some very small library stamps towards the end of the book.

Hardcover. Condition: Poor. First Edition. An uncommon large format Peek-a-Boos book. A disreputable copy of a scarce book. MISSING the title page and preliminaries including the frontis. Nevertheless there are still 17 wonderful full page (34x21.5 cm) printed on brilliant white stock. A number of the plates have finger smudges and the last three are dampstained. Covers very worn, binding split at several locations.

Some light wear to corners and edges of boards and rear board grubby. A 4cm tear to top edge of front endpaper and a 9cm creased tear to lower edge of rear endpaper. Some occasional light yellowing to pages but overall a good, tightly bound copy of this scarce children's book. Heavy book which will require extra overseas shipping.
