    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Illustrated with numerous plates, some folding and text illustrations. (illustrator). 1st Edition. Nd. c. 1871. Some very light foxing in places. All edges gilt. Original highly decorative green cloth with the red inset on front cover gilt decorated with two boys playing with fireworks. The cloth rebacked with the original spine laid-down. Spine slightly darkened. Original yellow advertising endpapers retained, inner hinges at the front and back reinforced with matching yellow paper. Generally a very good copy. Chris Philip's bibliography on firework books lists the date as 1871 & says that there is one copy in the British Library. Rare. 197 p. Book.
