Very good condition . Shows a scene of the first Post Office Letter Box at the corner of Fleet Street.

A printed booklet, approx. 13 x 6cm. when folded, opening out and with a folding plate with 12 photographic views of London, the folding plate approx. 41 x 7 cm., back of folding plate blank, printer's details to foot of plate; minor rubbing else in very good condition. This souvenir of London was printed by Edward Thomas West Dennis, better known as a manufacturer of postcards. Based in Scarborough initially, and then moving to London, Dennis used a change in Post Office regulations to produce the first privately printed postcards, starting in 1894. He died in 1923, but the business, continued by his sons, was in existence until 2000.…
