Soft cover. Condition: Good. Contributors include Julian Bond, Gwendolyn Brooks, Langston Hughes, Ted Joans, Leroi Jones, Audre Lord, and Claude McKay. 4-3/8" x 7-1/8", 188pp incl. prelims. Printed on alkaline paper and bound in sewn signatures in varnished printed card stock cover. Moderate reading, shelf wear to cover, and the bottom 1/2" of the base of the spine is frayed / worn away. Thumb & general soiling to fore edge. Binding is square and tight. Pages are clean and bright and unmarked. A reading copy.
