No publication date is stated. Ex-library. On the front cover, the number "478-4" is written in ink and "Library, The Franklin Institute" and "Aug 15 1921" are both rubber stamped. No other writing or marks. The wraps and light edge wear and have a few shallow creases from handling; the crown of the spine is chipped, as well. Light toning throughout due to the age of the volume. The gutter of the title page and front free endpaper has a 2" tear. The binding is cracked at the gutter between pages 48-19, causing a 5" tear/gap. This is an otherwise clean copy, with no loose or missing pages.
