Also includes "From 'Misérable Miracle'" by Henri Michaux, an account of a mescaline experiment in which he accidentally mixed a dose six times the usual strength. Along with the text are six drawings of the visions produced by the drug. Paperclipped into book is the publisher receipt addressed to filmmaker Harold Mantell with Mantell's pen and crayon underlining and marginalia on the pages containing the interview with Thornton Wilder.
