He also served as Governor of Maryland (1871-1874) and Mayor of Baltimore (1881-1883). In this letter to literary editor Eugene L. Didier (1838-1913), Whyte asks for Didier's house number on "I" Street and says Didier can visit him. Signed by Author(s).
