The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There are a couple of pages that show a small chip along the fore edge which does not interfere with the text. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling or writing. The copyright page shows 1953 as the published date. The DJ is yellow with an illustration of an ump and baseball player. The dust jacket shows some light edgewear, a short (one-inch) closed tear on the top of the back and the DJ spine is sunned (No Chips). I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box.…
