"Während der Reise, die Hell 1769 zur Beobachtung des Venusdurchgangs nach Vardöe machte, hatte ihn P. allein zu vertreten. Als Exjesuit erhielt derselbe den Titel eines kaiserlichen Astronomen und zugleich die Weisung, im Vereine mit seinem Collegen P. Triesnecker eine auf genauen Vermessungen beruhende Kartirung von Niederösterreich auszuführen. Von Pilgram's Schriften sind acht in lateinischer, vier in deutscher Sprache erschienen, und unter diesen leßtern befindet sich auch ein den allerverschiedensten Zwecken angepaßtes Logarithmenwerk. Die "Ephemerides astronomicae ad meridianum Vindobonensem" redigirte er für die Jahre 1769, 1770 und 1771 allein, für die späteren Jahre in Gemeinschaft mit P. Hell; unter seinen diesem Jahrbuch einverleibten Originalaussätzen dürfte die "Disquisitio de parallaxi solis" (1774) besondere Erwähnung verdienen" (Günther in ADB). - Einband etwas berieben, Exlibris, Stempel auf dem Titelblatt, gutes Exemplar.
