Peirce (1900-1968) was an American artist, known for his watercolours (watercolors!) and in particular those of or around Arizona. He became an art teacher and dedicated this work, including much of a tutorial nature, to his students. Covers and spine a little marked or discoloured; some edges bumped; a previous price at top right of front free end paper in ink, though fading; a few other marks internally though generally all text pages are very good; book as a whole in good+ condition.
