    Softcover. Limited Edition: #738/4000. Octavo, 421 pages. In Very Good condition. Bound in publisher's printed beige wrap and glassine protective covering. Slight tearing to glassine along top and bottom edges. Beige spine is tanned with black lettering. Tanning to beige front and back covers with minor soiling and possible water damage to lower back cover near spine. Slight writing in pencil to top left corner of back cover. Small white sticker affixed to bottom of spine with the number '700.' Age-toning to textblock with tanning along side edge. Inscribed by Nadeau on half-title page. This is a collection of Sade's works selected by Nadeau featuring an essay on Sade's continued significance by Nadeau's colleague, Pascal Pia. Nadeau was a French writer and literary critic who was a member of the resistance during the occupation.
