Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. pp.xiv, 404 pages, (+ an 8-page list of subscribers and 32 pages of adverts), a steel-engraved frontispiece, 11 pages of plates (15 plates in total), 2 folding plates, and a hand-coloured folding town plan dated 1839 (in excellent condition!), some pages unopened, fore- and bottom-edges uncut, a generally very clean and tight hardback (original green blind-stamped cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine and upper cover), some mild natural foxing on the plates, the First Edition.
