This subject, which once had many controversial connotations, is today become a theme of history: two poorly known organizations, which we wanted to lend in a completely anachronistic way pernicious or evil intentions, merited reconsideration. As part of the "Orval colloquia", for two days, historians professionals and amateurs have wondered about the Templar reality and about the scope of the action of the monk-soldiers guided by Jacques de Molay and its predecessors, particularly in the region of Sedan, Bouillon and Luxembourg. The results of their research deserved not to fall in oblivion.
