The first part of the book contains a note on John DePol who has contributed a wood-cut to the book, an article…on Benjamin Franklin who printed the first Delaware currency (accompanied by a tipped-in leaf from an early Franklin imprint,) a history of the Club, a chronology of the meetings and publications; the second part of the book is a history of the city of New Castle issued to celebrate its 350th Anniversary; the third part of the book contains an article by Herb Pratt on "The Chemistry Collection of The New Castle Library Company of 1840: A Meeting of Minds", a reprint of Ralph Newman's section on Delaware colonial currency from his book on American currency and an expansion by Nathaniel Puffer of Rink's bibliography of Delaware imprints before 1801.
