Contemporary or nearly so paneled leather, framed with decorative elements blindstamped at the corners, spine in five compartments. Binding heavily worn with the rear joint partially split, some loss at the spine base, and the front cover attached by the cords only, modest worming affecting the pastedowns, endleaves, and the first 100 or so pages, most engravings foxed (one with a small foredge chip) and a few leaves toward the end with light staining at the foredges, a good only copy.
