Add to basketFirst Edition. 19.5 x 15cm. Oblong paperback, 63pp. Professionally produced. A gently cynical anti-capitalist, anti-elitist take on language education, with a letter and illustration for each page: "E are the elements in state education, forced on our youngsters by central dictation [Gold and silver are noble elements] . F stand…s for frauds in the highest of places, directors defaulting and other disgraces." Includes publicity sheet in French (although the book is in English) with UK distributor's details inked on (comic book scholar Paul Gravett). Illustrator unknown, but the preface gives a fictitious address in Wales perhaps as a nod to the damage done there by Margaret Thatcher's policies: "Llanfairforgotten, Powys". Very good condition. (ref: 151).
