Condition: Sehr gut. 7 volumes in original softcover bindings. Originally, it was planned to publish 2 issues per year, so there is vol. I no 1 and 2. After that the volumes have been numbered individually, present are also volumes 3 to 7 plus the unnumbered Year of Tibet Editition. Lacking is only no. 4, otherwise a complete set, publication ceased after vol. 7. The first two issues have neat private spine labels with the title, vol. 7 has a deaccession stamp on the title (but no other library marks), some of the issues probably trimmed outside the text, a set in very good condition. Other than most Indian publications these volumes were published to high standard, with numerous illustrations. Each volume has about 125 pages, the Year of Tibet Edition has 345 pages. The volumes contain some highly important reports and interviews with information not otherwise found. Some exemples: Russell, A Brief History of the Taglung Kagyu, with mentioning of a few of the lost treasures of Taglung. Interview with Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Taglung Tsetrul Rinpoche, Dorje Drak and the Northern Treasure Tradition. Several articles about the Monlam Chenmo Festival at Lhasa. Khandro Chenmo Rinpochey, a modern day Yogini. Tibetan Clay Sculpture and the Construction of Colossal Statues. A Tailor`s Tale (36 page autobiography of the taylor of the Dalai Lama, who accompanied him in 1954 to China and in 1956 to India and lived until 1980 at Lhasa). The Story of Tibetan Yogini Shungsep Jetsun 1852 - 1953. Very heavy set, additional shipping is likely. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 3950.
