The author provides an index to over 3,000 pictures in books then in print that document narrow gauge railroads of the Rocky Mountain Region. Over 80 railways were discovered and many…engines were found to be used by more than one company by tracing the pictures. It is a "narrow gauge genealogy." Laid in is a LETTER FROM THE AUTHOR that states this was printed in an edition of only 500 copies. Also included is a type-written errata sheet listing one error. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Uncommon ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 60 pages.
