DESCRIPTION - Probably written about 1230 by Snorri Sturluson, EGIL'S SAGA offers a panoramic view of the Viking world from the middle of the ninth century to the end of the tenth. Merciless and vengeful, he is also capable of great loyalty and great delicacy of feeling.
