A 7-page account, printed in triple columns, of Hemingway and company in Paris ahead of the Allies at the end of World War II, as told by Ditzel, illustrated with 8 photographs and drawings. From the opening paragraph, "Ernest Hemingway shifted the tommygun he cradled in his lap. Somebody was moving around outside. Or was the sound he heard only the steady rain beating a tattoo on the farmhouse roof?" Not in Hanneman. Scarce.
