Text with some red ink underlining and personal notes, such as "My uncle" and "Daddy gave the land for Hagan school." Also a note on front end paper about previous owners, to 1992, in same ink and handwriting as text notes. 89 numbered pages, tight in binding. Illustrated with many b & w family photos, mostly 1890's to 1920's. Loose inserted undated postcard, with no written message (picture of toddler on a stool) possibly another old family photo. "J. Alvin Patterson was born.1876 in Lampasas County, Texas. He came to Runnels County in 1897". Signed and dated by subject and author on front end paper. Signed by Author(s).
