Endpapers and prelims lightly foxed. Presentation plate on front free endpaper (dated 1936). Internally pages are lightly to moderately foxed, otherwise neat, bright and tight. Dust jacket has heavy shelf wear with loss to spine and front and rear cover, long closed tear across front panel, rubbed at edges, a little toned and price clipped. The story of John G Paton, his early days and his work in the New Hebrides and The Life Story of Alexander Mackay, known by some as the Hero of Uganda.
