What makes this book quite special and historically significant are the signatures on the double page painting of the Enola Gay. The Enola Gay, a B-29 Superfortress, dropped the world's first atomic bomb ever used in combat on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The Enola Gay was named after the mother of the pilot, Paul Tibbets.
