Hardcover. Condition: Good. A Welsh language bible. Undated in print, but advised to be 19th Century - possibly late 1800s. Large copy. Black leather boards with gilt decoration. Decorative metal board edging, with two clasps - some loosening which could be repaired. Extremity condition is good for the age, but naturally has seen some use. Nevertheless all binding remains secure and unexposed. Some page foxing which does not affect readability of the content. Gilt page edges. No inscriptions. Colour illustrations. Heavy Item which will require additional postage.

This has 3 title pages so is a little confusing - more so as I don't speak Welsh.This Bible is in beautiful condition with full page engravings throughout plus maps. Frontis. engraving of Moses. Title page has engraving of Adam & Eve. Most engravings have tissue guards.1166pp.Front title page reads that this was originally published in 23 to 24 parts and each part embellished with two splendid Engravings or Maps. The quality of the paper is fine and there is no foxing.
