Top edge stained purple, illustrated endpapers, color frontispiece, map, illustrations, color plates. The slipcase has some scuff marks and spots. Normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. 400 pages, all intact, all pages, text, illustrations, map and family trees are in excellent, clean, readable order. Set in Centaur by The Folio Society. Printed at The Bath Press, Avon on Eagle Wove Paper and Bound there in full cloth blocked with a design by the artist. The family trees on the front and back endpapers and the map on page vi were drawn by Denys Baker. A stunning book that would grace any stylish library.
